I'm an enormous advocator of the thought of tempered expectations. In terms of films, which means if you expect a flick to be unhealthy, you are a lot of possible to get pleasure from a flick, as you're avoiding disappointment, and if the flick does not utterly blow, you will truly get pleasure from it (for not suck as unhealthy as you expected).
Yes, you'll be able to see the $64000 reasons I needed to ascertain this film.... designer Chiling being the most one, and Zhang Jingchu being a secondary one. :-P
Apparently this film was regenerate to 3D when it had been finished, that is why it came out currently and not in Gregorian calendar month as mentioned on the poster higher than.... except for some reason its not showing in HK in 3D the least bit.... however that is in all probability an honest factor.
Despite my muted expectations, this picture truly was implausibly dangerous. The plot was... ludicrously dangerous.... as was the dialogue... and characters, particularly the dangerous guys.... and therefore the writing... and the CG... and therefore the leading. All quite ugly truly.
If I had to diagnose the one biggest drawback with the film, it'd be the plot... or close to absolute lack of 1. this is often one among those films that if you raise somebody to elucidate the plot throughout or when the film ends, you may simply realize blank stares or even even crossed eyes. :-P
As the film goes on, it simply gets worse and worse. Its virtually as if the director was full of short term amnesia whereas creating this film... a similar characters ar all told the scenes, however the scenes they're acting in aren't connected by a standard plot the least bit... as if the director forgot what the plot was and simply created up a replacement plot for every scene as they shot it.... (like once Zhang Jingchu turns from Associate in Nursing innocent insurance underwriter worker into a brand wielding killing machine for no discernible reason... )
Despite the crappiness, there is a few minor positives within the film -
1) designer Chiling is in it
2) they need some nice location shots (and plenty of dangerous ones)
3) You get to ascertain a good two hour long showcase of the complete vary of 2013 Audi cars
From what I browse on wikipedia, the HK version is nine minutes shorter than the China version... the $64000 question is, will adding the nine minutes back in build it a more robust film, or will it build Associate in Nursing intollerably long dangerous picture even worse? (somehow i feel it will take over nine minutes to fill all the gaps during this plot...)
